Okmulgee Main Street hosted a downtown property tour on  November 6, 2011 from 2-4 pm. The tour showcased several of the downtown buildings that are either for sale, lease or rent, in the downtown Main Street district. This is the second time for this type of tour.  The Economics Restructuring Committee is planning on hosting another property tour in the near future.

“We have some unique spaces available and interest in downtown properties has been high,” said Nolan Crowley, Okmulgee Main Street director. “Thanks to the cooperation of the owners and/or brokers, we feel that this is going to be a great opportunity to showcase vacant properties in downtown.”

The tour began at the Citizens Bank Meeting Room at 111 East 6th. There, visitors picked up a map of the available spaces to tour.

New to the tour this year were the use of QR Codes. Each space  featured a QR Code in the window that told the available space, address, square footage, and contact information. This information can be accessed from a smart phone and stored.
