The City of Okmulgee is the county seat of Okmulgee county. The District Court, Assessor, County Clerk, Jail, and Sheriff's office are all conveniently located between 6th and 8th St, and Alabama and Seminole Avenues.
If you live outside of the Okmulgee City Limits, then all questions concerning addressing, inspections and permits are under the jurisdiction of the County
